National Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Kim Lacina is the National Vice President of Marketing and Communications, overseeing the nationwide American Lung Association brand and all marketing, advertising and communications for the American Lung Association. Kim has been on staff with the Lung Association for more than seven years, and prior to that, served on the Wisconsin Local Leadership Board for three years.
With both a corporate marketing and agency background, Lacina manages marketing and communications around multiple areas of the organization, aimed at raising the profile of the American Lung Association and positioning it as the premier resource for lung health. Whether the focus is lung cancer, asthma, COPD, healthy indoor and outdoor air, tobacco cessation, research awards, the Airways Clinical Research Center network or fundraising events, Lacina and her team ensure the brand, content, messaging, design and distribution methods meet a standard of excellence worthy of the oldest voluntary health organization in the U.S.
Lacina and her team work also work with regional and local Lung Association staff throughout the country to provide direction, resources and support in promoting local events and programs.
