The St. Vincent American Lung Association Airways Clinical Research Center (ACRC) is dedicated to advancing the care and treatment for people who suffer with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The St. Vincent ACRC and the ACRC Network enroll large numbers of people from diverse populations to ensure that the research findings are relevant to large, diverse populations, and can be interpreted with the highest level of scientific authority.

The St. Vincent ACRC is under the direction of Michael F. Busk, MD, MPH, Principal Investigator and supported by Clinical Research Coordinator Ellen Looney, CCRP. Dr. Busk has been conducting research in airways diseases since 1987. Ms. Looney has more than 15 years clinical research experience and is NIOSH certified for spirometry.
